Long Period of Misfortune, what to do?

I’ve been having a long period of misfortune, the past 4 months nothing seems to work, things worked for my worst, on a continuous downfall. I am amongst the most unlucky persons I know in my cyrcle. Do you think it has something to do with spirituality? What should I do about this.
 
You can offer up your sufferings to God in union with the sufferings of Christ and gain merits & graces for yourself, the Church, and those in Purgatory. I would suggest to pray for strength to endure your tribulations and to have patience in this time of affliction. It will eventually come to pass.
 
Developing a balanced and sincere spirituality will indeed help you to cope with what comes in life.

Do your best, offer your sufferings up to God, look for and accept help where it can be found, love always.

Have you asked your priest for help discerning this? The question you ask is perfectly natural. But it needs human contact, not internet contact, to discern what’s up.

You will have found a lot of prayers though. And I will add my own.
 
Spirituality - maybe - maybe not. Look at the saints - many had long periods of hardship in one way or another.

It has nothing at all to do with Spirituality, you have had 4. Months of bad luck,
A long time would be getting around the ten year mark,
Sometimes we just need a new Scene in our life ,
Because the old scene has gone past its used by date,
Or perhaps your I between life changes,
Life is like a Book,you get lousy Chapters,or lousy parts of a chapter,
You are the Auther of your life book,
maybe you need to be one the lookout for a new storyline

I get that people think “luck” is something that just happens to tham.
But being close to Christ is something that combats these feelings of despair, anger, uselessness and discouragement.
Everyone needs a healthy spirituality.
If one is a child of God…and has been Baptized ESPECIALLY…how is dismissing one’s spiritual life helpful Phil???
Drawing close to the Lord can only help.

Perhaps talk to your priest, and if you have a prayer corner, spend time there.
 
I think it might be a good time to really ponder and pray about this scripture passage:

“Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”
(1 Thess 5:16-18)

And also, seek comfort in this:

“But I will call this to mind, as my reason to have hope:
The favors of the LORD are not exhausted, his mercies are not spent;
They are renewed each morning, so great is his faithfulness.
My portion is the LORD, says my soul; therefore will I hope in him.”
(Lamentations 3:21-24)

I second this. I’d add frequent confession and also to spend some time in Adoration. Bring your concerns to the Lord, perhaps He is trying to draw you closer to Him in the midst of your misfortune.

Also, read the book of Job. That always helps me when I’m down. Really puts everything into proper perspective. Some of the most difficult times in life I realize after the fact that they were blessings in disguise and saved me from much greater suffering or spiritual decay.
