I used to hang out in the YahooChat catholic rooms and since YahooChat was closed down I haven’t found anywhere else. Do any of you know a good chat room for catholics?

Unless I don’t understand what a “chatroom” is…
Welcome! You’ve found it!

Yahoo chat had a few room labeld Catholic yet I could rarely find any Catholic who wished to chat or discuss the faith. I joined another supposed Catholic site but it was dubious because it allowed nudity in the video chats(according to some obscure rule I noticed after I joined) LOL. Try Ecatholic2000 as there seemed to be some nice people there but you WILL be banned if you try to talk about end time or apocalyptic topics.

Larry, chat rooms were generally internet areas of discussion where people could communicate rather quickly. Here the message feature may offer that option yet it is tedious opening messages repeatedly where in chat rooms the conversation appeared on a screen and with multiple people joining in. The chat was usually within seconds.I think most all now do video chats to people on their contact lists.

For some, a chat room can be daunting. It can get emotional and people don’t always have enough time to ponder what is said and to respond in peace and good articulation.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m a middle-aged guy, and life gets in the way of keeping abreast of such things, I guess. Still, these forums do allow pretty darned quick responses!
