Looking for a good catholic concordance

Any one know of a really good catholic concordance? All I ever see in book stores are Strong’s, but they don’t inlcude all the books of the catholic bible.
 
I don’t think that there is one.

Now I have seen a Catholic CD-ROM that has one or more Catholic Bible translations on it. I’m sure it would have the capability to search for words or phrases, like my PC Study Bible (again, only the Protestant books) does. I’ll try to find it in some of the on-line catalogs and get back.

there is a concordance for the NAB I got mine from autom.com, but I have seen it in several Catholic book catalogs, it is a yellow and blue paperback, mine is at work or I would give more info. I just saw a strong’s for CE bibles in one of those catalogs, either Autom, Catholic Direct or ignatius yesterday, i will find it and post more info. I use more often the dictionary of biblical theology I got from Word Among Us.

I was just thinking about a concordance, myself.

I have the NAB on compact disk, which I got years ago for the deliriously low price of around $30 from – believe it or not – Rocky Mountain Laboratories. ( Do a Google search on Rocky Mountain Laboratories Bible and you’ll find the site real fast. I always have difficulty navigating their web site – hang in there; I think the current version costs upward of $60).

It’s the next-best thing to a concordance, allowing you to do a word or phrase search, which comes back pretty fast. That doesn’t give the depth of Strong’s concordance, of course. You may want to use that software AND Strong’s in your lap for the 66 books that Strong’s covers.

Maybe Thomas A. Nelson publishers (TAN) might have something. I’ll have to look into that. And, then, too, the Revised Standard Version - Catholic Edition is over my head; don’t know what’s available there.
 
If you are using the NAB, there is one I have called the New American Bible [concise] Concordance. As the name indicates, it is not nearly as exahaustive as Strongs (which I also use), but it does contain all the books of the Bible, keyed to the most widely used Catholic translation and at least you don’t need a microscope to read it.

Why would a Catholic need a concordance? They are forbidden from reading the Bible by the Church! It must be true. My wife’s grandmother, a Methodist, said so to me just 2 weeks ago!:eek:
