i’m posting this for a friend who would like to find these lyrics either in English or Malayalam

here was his post to me
Today I saw the Syro Malankara LotH at a TV channel. In it, I heard a hymn (or rather, a latter portion of it):
It mentioned shaino(tranquility) multiple times, including (what I believe to be) the last line.
The tune was different from typical Syro Malabar ones; it seemed West Syriac.
The nuns used a Malayalam translation and it was normal speed, not too slow.
I presume it to be the Night Office (but it aired at noon so I’m not entirely sure)
It aired on 30 March 2016 (but probably shot at another time)(if that helps)
It was followed by the Trisagion.

he has provided more info in hopes of getting a response
I have new info:
It came just after the usual prayers for the dead (As a father loves his children…Man’s days are like grass…May Your voice raise from their graves to the garden (of Eden) those who died hoping in Your grace…)
The Holy Spirit is mentioned.
The last line is “Give shaino to Your Church”
(All translations mine)

Sounds like the 9th hr office/prayer for the departed (tes’mesto d’aneede):

The Father pities his children Halleluiah
Likewise God, his devotees

Man’s life like grass withers away Halleluiah
And like lilies, it blossoms. Barekmor

Subho… Men’olam…

Trusting in you grace O Lord,
Your servants who departed
Let them be raised by your call
To paradise from their graves

Staumen kalos Kurie-eleison

The King who is to give life
Descended from heaven above
And imparts life
To all those who departed;
And each one from his grave
Rises up with a new life
Giving praises
To Him who vivifies.

Sub’ho…

“He who eats my Body
And who drinks my precious Blood
Never Shall I
Leave him go to Sheol,
For I came there and died
That he might live forever”
Glory to the
Saying of our Savior

Moriyo rahem alayn u-adarayn.

On the Cross O Gracious Lord,
Your boon which the good thief got
Grant them who died praising you
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Possibly the Resurrection Season Morning Prayer Boovoso of Mor Jacob, the prayer states:
  1. Son! Who redeemed Thy Church by Thy resurrection
Grant Thy peace, Lord! And keep the children of Thy Church.
  2. May strains of joy and gladness re-sound in the Church
Thy peace may keep Thy holy Church like a fortress
  3. May Thy peace, Lord, guard the doors of Thy holy Church
Tranquility may greet all who enter therein
  4. Adored is the Father who built Church and keeps it
Worshipful Son, feasted her by death on the Cross
  5. Praised be the Holy Spirit who makes all people
Worship the Son, who from the tomb, rose in glory.
  6. Heaven’s peace! Who invites those above and on earth!
By Thy Resurrection, make peace reign in Thy Church.
That’s the Malankara Orthodox translation, the Malankara Catholic current English one is a bit more modern, in my opinion easier to sing.
