Looking for a PJPII quote about hell

I have read before that he likend the fire and torments of hell to those who live life in the flesh apart from God. There life is miserable without God and suffer such. So the experience of fire in hell is more like those who live life apart from God in this life than fire such as one that people where burned at the stake.

Does anyone know of this?

I like one particular part.
The images of hell in sacred scripture show the complete frustration and emptiness of life without God.

We also know all who are in hell are by their own choice. So with this in mind is hell really all that bad for those who are in it? To us yes because our glass is bigger. You know the analogy of those in heaven. Some can experience heaven to a greater extent but all will experience heaven to their full copacity. Well to us hell sounds horrible but to someone who does not have the capacity as we it might sound apealing even though its complete frustration and emptiness.

I also remember this from TOB its not that God throws people into hell because of their sin. It is more accurate to say that the impure person is ipso facto incapable of the beatific vision. The impure don’t see the happiness we do of heaven but are attracted to well hell.

With this in mind is it all that uncharitable or bigeted to say someones actions will lead them to hell?
