Looking for a Sacred Music set called “Credo” or Creed (I believe it called that)…
it basicly music from the first thousand years plus of Catholic Music… it a 8+ CD set also. I know its around but I can’t find it (I saw it in Rome though)…
any thoughts or if not any suggestion on a set of catholic CDs that has both Georgian(sp), Traditional or others…

I have seen that set too and searched on Amazon - which doesn’t have it. There are many good Gregorian CDs for basic chant. High middle ages choral music (1100-1350 or so) is a very acquired taste. Lots of gorgeous sacred music from the late middle ages and Renaissance and so on and so forth. I can recommend anthologies but they are mostly grouped by time period. Where do you want to start?

I’m not sure, I want a good collection of the different periods. Thats why I thought Credo would be a good start. If not I would at least like a good set to start off of traditional song like Imaculate Mary, Holy Priase Thy name, Salva Regina… I aready have a chorus CD sing in the Sintine Chapal (Brouque, I think–itrs hiding somewhere) and 2 CD set Requime Masses … oh and listen to the old Glory and Praise songs… but that another story.
