Looking for books on the Jesus Prayer

Can anyone recommend a good book on the Jesus Prayer? Thank you.

I think for Orthodox the book that’s always recommended is “The Way of a Pilgrim”. A good companion for this would be The Philokalia–though that is by no means an easy read.
 
I must ask this because the Jesus prayer is one line. “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” and it seems to me that asking for a book about the Jesus Prayer is like asking for a book on the Hail Mary.

Could you clarify what it is you are looking for?

There are books on the Hail Mary though aren’t there?

Any book on the Jesus Prayer introduces a person to the way of prayer of the Greek and Russian traditions. It might speak of dangers like that of delusion.

There are, but what kind of books. How to say it? What it means? It’s Origins?

I would not presume to assume to know what the original poster is looking for, and so before listing a bunch of titles, it seemed prudent to get a bit more detail.

ok. Maybe I was wrong, I just assumed that he was asking about a book on how to pray it.
 
If you’re talking about the school of Byzantine mysticism called hesychasm, based on repitition of the Jesus Prayer, you can’t learn it from books.
