Hello, all! I’m fairly new to CA forums. I’m a homeschooling mom and don’t have much time to surf the 'net looking for stuff, so I’m hoping someone can help me out here!

I would like to find the “Faith & Freedom” basic readers for use in my homeschooling. I have two of them–“These Are Our People” and “This is Our Heritage” for fifth and sixth grade. If anyone has 1st through 4th and 7th and beyond that they would be willing to donate or sell, or if anyone knows where I may get them, please let me know.

The copies I have were given to me and my sister when we were in Catholic school back in the '70s. The school was making way for the new readers, but I always liked these. Any help would be appreciated! While I don’t have a lot of time to spend on the web, I always make time for CA!

God bless!

Thanks for the link, it’s great!

Our program recommends the National Catholic Readers, but I’m having a hard time keeping the kids engaged with them. After all, “You’re a 'fraidy cat.” sounds more realistic than “Bah! You have not the pluck of a cat!”
Thanks again and God bless!

Check with Seton Home Study (can’t remember the website, but do a google search and you’ll find it). You don’t have to sign up for the whole program. You can order individual courses and buy some of their books also.

Seton Press has reprinted pretty much all of the Faith and Freedom books. You can buy them individually. I usually pick them up at homeschool conferences for 9 or 10 dollars, but if you go to Seton’s web site at setonhome.org, you can order them. Hope this was a help. God Bless
