A friend’s son, serving in Iraq, is engaged to be married. He wants ideas on books to read or websites on NFP and how to be a good husband. I told my friend I would come here and ask all to share their combined wisdom.
THANKS!

I have a few suggestions:)

“The Good News About Sex and Marriage” by Christopher West. I think this book should be part of the marriage prep classes!

“Taking Charge of Your Fertility” by Toni Weschler… just ignore the parts about using contraception during the fertile period. This book would be great for him to understand how a woman’s body is designed to function… it would be great for his fiancee too.

Also, “The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands” by Dr.Laura Schlessinger was a very good book. It would be more helpful for his fiancee, but it won’t hurt for him to read it either… lots of men have.

Great! Send him the book “Man of Steel and Velvet” by Aubrey Andelin. You can order it at www.fascinatingwomanhood.net. It’s THE best book on manhood ever----and the accompanying book written by his wife Helen Andelin “Fascinating Womanhood” is THE best book in my opinion ever written on womanliness in all arenas!!!

God Bless ~~

Popcak’s For Better Forever…
I second that- a great book. I had a great marriage already, and after reading that book it’s even better.
