Looking for OSAS Protestant analogy

There is a analogy that Protestants use to support OSAS and I cant find it. Somthing to do with you being a earthly father and if your kid disabays he is still your son. something like that. I would like to know what exactly it is because I have heard it before and I need it so I can respond to it in my notes. Thanks

I never heard of the analogy, but from what you’ve given I’d respond that while it’s true a son always remains a son, it’s also true that sons can be disinherited.
