Looking for quote

There is a quote something like the “New Testament is concealed in the old and the Old Testament is revealed in the New”. Do I have this as a correct quote? Who is the quote attributed to?

It means the New Testament fulfills the Old Testament, that the New Covenant completes and perfects the Old Covenant.

In the Old Testament the New Testament is concealed;

That by using the Key to opening the scroll, Jesus Christ, you can find that the New Testament is not New, but is something that has been pointed to from the very beginning of time. You find that even in the story of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3) we are promised the Messiah. All of the Old Testament points to the New Testament.

The New Testament is nothing more than God revealing the plan he has been hinting to since the beginning of time. By understanding the Old, it makes the New apparent. When we ask a question what does this mean? Why did Jesus say this or that? We find the answer in the Old.

It’s continuity of the Word of God. The Old and the New are but one Word and they both point to Christ.

There is a concrete example in the Bible itself of what this statement means.

Deuteronomy 25:4 - “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.”

1 Corinthians 9:9-11 - “For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it is treading out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? Does he not speak entirely for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of a share in the crop. If we have sown spiritual good among you, is it too much if we reap your material benefits?”

Here, we see how the New is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. The real intention behind giving the law in Deuteronomy 25:4 was hidden (New hidden in the Old). But now Paul takes this Old Testament commandment and reveals its true meaning (Old revealed in the New).
