I have been away form the boards for some time now. Being lent and my life is very busy.
But in light of the passing of JPII. I think I am going to forgo my preperations for my class this week. I want to discuss JPII and the seat of the pope. I am a convert so this is really the only pope I ever knew, and it is for most really.
So I am looking for people exp with JPII. How you viewed him as pope or as Carroll(spelling?). How you felt he was politically, spiritually, and socially. Also I would like to know if anyone had conflict with some of his works or teachings but yet still obeyed out of respect or humbleism. Please PM if you do not want to post on here.
And for the old fogey Catholics
. What exp you have in the conclave election. Would love for anyone who saw the White or Black smoke.
As a convert this is a very exciting time for me, I am almost memmorised that I was actually lead by one of the most amazing men of the last 2 millinium. What a honor and joy to have that feather in a cap.
