Our water pressure tanked, all of a sudden.

Thank goodness, no leaks in our house.

The leak was in our shop, and a deeply buried pipe either loosened or broke outside of it. We’ve spent the rest of daylight digging to find it, bailing out water as we went. We turned off the well pump so no more can leak in.

Still haven’t found the source, and it’s now dark.

Bright side: Nothing broken in our house – no soaked carpets or floors. The floor in the shop is bare concrete, with a drain. Could have been much worse.

Downside: We have no faucet water. it’s going to be interesting.

However, we have plenty of bottled water. Should get by.

Garden should be fine for awhile – before all of this happened, I ran the sprinkler on all of the beds.

Such is life…

Ugh. I’m sorry

But you have a real good attitude which is cool 😎

Thank you.

Since we have no plumbing, a neighbor is letting us use his restroom.

The plumber will come out to fix the pipe as soon as we find the leak.

Working more on it, today.

Thanks for our prayers and good wishes.

An update: We found the source of the leak. An old galvanized elbow pipe that finally rotted a hole in itself after 27 years. Our plumber attached a brand new one, and now we have water, again.

Nice!
