I had a love one just passed away on the 15th. When can we do the mass for her?

You are in my prayers. At any time you can ask the Priest to say a memorial mass as a mass intention. Or were you meaning a funeral mass?

If you are asking for a funeral Mass, please speak with your priest or the parish office.

If you simply want a Mass Intention, again, your parish office will assist.

It basically depends on when there is a free date on your parish’'s calendar. I was lucky. When my father passed away in 2008, I arranged 2 Masses for him within a couple of weeks of his passing.

Just to make sure, the official meaning of a Memorial Mass is just like a Mass of Christian Burial (aka Funeral Mass) without the body or cremains present. If you wish to arrange this, speak to your parish office.
