I still get home from work at midnight. I now try to go to bed at 1 AM, so as to get out of bed by 9 or 10 AM. This gives me time to access UNIVERSALIS for today’s OFFICE OF READINGS.

However, Morning Prayer is now from the breviary CHRISTIAN PRAYER, useing the information at

liturgyofthehours.org

This site offers page numbers for Morning and Evening Prayers, for both Christian Prayer and the 4 volume LOTH. It does not offer Office of Readings, Daytime prayers, or Compline.

The advantage of this is that I can write the required page numbers down on a card, put it into my Breviary, and do Evening Prayer at work during my coffee break.

Compline is the simplest. It’s always taken from whatever day of the week it is. The only exception is a Solemnity when it is taken from Sunday - and the next Solemnity is August 15.

But if this is problematic, the General Instruction allows you to use the psalms of Sunday Compline for all the days of the week.

Prayer during the day is the next simplest office.

All you have to do is start with the correct day (July 4- Friday Psalm Week 1) and go sequentially through all the days EVEN on the feasts of saints. So absolutely no flipping (I’m assuming you are only praying 1 daytime hour and not all 3).

The only exceptions are Feasts and Solemnities. The next feast is on July 25, and the next solemnity on August 15. So aside from these days, you should be fine.

I want to be able to do all 3 daytime prayers.

Compline is a snap, thanks to sacros.com
