Been to Lourdes approx 4 times.

Seriously thinking of going again in August. I always feel pulled to go there.

Going through a rough patch mentally and physically and emotionally. I want to be healed! But, i am a big sinner.

I love Lourdes. I so love it.

Anyone else been?

I have never been there but would love to go someday. Ever see the official list of cures there? Fascinating!

Do you go in the water each time .you visit? Is there a long line that you have to wait in, and do they assist you, etc? Interested to know how they have the process organized there.

I had a class where I sat next to a Dame from the Order of Malta. She tries to go at least once a year, and helps out with pilgrims. Lucky her!

I have been in the waters once. VERY COLD! Lol

Yes, there is a big que. You have to get there early. Yes, they do assist you.

My wife and I made our pilgrimage in December of 2014. Fantastic place, though not very active that time of year. Probably the best part was a 45 minute confession I had with an Irish priest from the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We were the only two in the whole hall.

The birds are pretty interesting around there too. Gorgeous place. Here’s a photo from the High Stations of the Cross. I found Lourdes to be sublimely beautiful.

Sadly not since 1993 I am planning to take a trip over next year hopefully.

Thank you. What amazes me about it is that it can be painted in two colors. red and green. This happens time and time again within creation.

I’m just saying…

It’s possible.

I want to get closer to Mary. I want to get closer to Jesus. I need healing. Mentally and physically.

I can. I am seriously thinking of going this August. 6 days. But, sleep rough 2 nights outside to experience the night of the grotto!

I would never been, but would love to go.

I’m thinking of visiting the St Rita Shrine in Philly. It’s funny, I lived there in the 90s, and never visited.

No, it was right before Christmas in 2014.

Maybe you’re thinking about how Lourdes came to me. 😎

It seems kind of lame to go to Lourdes as a side trip to the World Cup, but ML and I have been thinking of coming over for the tournament. If so, we both don’t know how we could step foot on the continent and not make it back to Lourdes. If we do make it, we will eat and pray together.
