You don’t see Italy and the US fighting each other? They did so in WWII, possibly did so in WWI (I’m a bit hazy on my WWI history), so they certainly could do so again.
Trust me, I know that. It’s just that they really have no reason to fight each other in the near future. What I’m saying is that they’re not an imminent danger as they were when allied with Nazi Germany.
