Ones where we felt God’s love through other people.
I’ve got two I can think of right now.
I was 27. I was returning from India/Nepal. My first trip overseas. My father made the 2 hour train journey to the airport to meet me. he didn’t have a car. There was something very special about that welcome. He was so glad to see me. I felt like the Prodigal Son. I’ll never forget it.
When I was about 22, my mother gave me a really cool medieval Chess Set. My mother had little or no education but made the effort to find this gift. She must have been proud to have a son who graduated from College. it was just the thoughtfulness of it, that touched me.
