IMHO—if what you did was absolutely your fault(even if it was partially your fault) then you should go apologize and ask for forgiveness. If they dont forgive you then that is their problem at least you tried.

I wronged someone before I was a christian and I feel bad about it. I dont know where this person is now but if the opportunity arises I will apologize and ask for forgiveness. Im talking 19 years ago.

If you are asking, you probably owe God an apology as well as your neighbor. It certainly cant hurt.{ and would be expected by you if the roles were reversed, I’m guessing…?} Whether your neighbor chooses to accept is his choice, but you will have done what is right…

plus dont forget that your neighbour doesnt just refer to the person who lives beside you, it means all indiviudal within the whole of society.

You know, in this situation, you really don’t have to begin with some major kind of act or statement.

Just give the guy a box of Girl Scout cookies or something, and say you had extra. A small first step is sometimes going to be more easily understood than a big event of contrition or overwrought kindness. Start small.
