Yes, and yes. Will those saved reunite with their loved ones in heaven?, At the end of time will the bodies of the saved go to heaven?
No doubt we will, but our relationships might be a bit different from that experienced on earth, for instance married people will no longer be married. It doesn’t mean we won’t love our former spouse, of course, but we will love them with a higher, better love–the kind with which God loves us.Will those saved reunite with their loved ones in heaven?
Yes, everyone will be resurrected with a glorified body that will never die again. At the end of time will the bodies of the saved go to heaven?
Yes, the fact that we are reunited and get our bodies back are doctrine. You might not find “reunited with loved ones” in the catechism or something like that but, it is doctrine that when we die and go to heaven we are all united with Christ as his body and so, if we are united that would mean that some of us are united for the first time and others that we knew on earth would be re-united in Christ. At every mass we say the creed, Apostles or Nicene and the last lines are, “…the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen”/ “We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.” Respectfully. So, we do indeed get our bodies back at the end of time. You can look that part up in the catechism too. I am too lazy. Are these answers doctrin of the Roman Catholic Church? I believe what you said except that God gave humans a nature and it would seem that the body restored in heaven would still maintain their nature. I just think there is even more.

It’s only natural to miss our loved ones who have passed on before us. Losing the ones we love leaves a big hole in our lives, and we can become lonely and depressed. However, since we are still alive here, we can make friends and get involved in people’s lives and so find more people with whom we can share love and companionship and activities. We shouldn’t bury ourselves with our dead, but live life to the full as God intended. I have lost both parents and grandparents and am now the oldest living member of my family. It’s just a matter of time until others, or I, pass away. It’s a part of life–not an easy part, but something we all will have to come to terms with at some point. I sympathize with you and pray your good lady is happy in heaven, where, no doubt, she prays for you.Thank you 'Upon The Altar" and all the others that responded to “Loved Ones In Heaven”. I have spent a lot of time thinking of the woman I spent 60 years and 8 days with. She has been gone 3 years. I think my wishes were selfish and possessive. I feel much better now. I know God’s plans are somewhat better than mine.

You’re welcome.I guess I always knew the answer to my question. Mark 12:23, When the Sadducee asked Jesus whos wife the widow of seven would be in heaven Jesus replied “When the dead rise they will neither marry or be given in marriage. They will be like the angels in heaven”. I want to thank everyone who responded. It was of great help to me.
God bless!1Cor.2:9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.”
