Have you seen the trailor to this documentary about the business, Planned Parenthood?

bloodmoneyfilm.com/

In the documentary, a nurse who aided in over 35,000 abortions talks very frankly about how Planned Parenthood guarantees that they will remain selling abortion services.

The nurse in the documentary states that both the condoms and the low dose birth control - prescribed at Planned Parenthood - are of such low quality that woman will eventually become pregnant.

She said the dosage is so low, it must be taken at the same time each day.

Sometimes I wish we Christians could use our theology to justify Holy War the way the Muslims do, if only to end Planned Parenthood once and for all. I wonder what kind of cut Lucifer gets off PP’s bottom line.

I thought you had that pretty well in hand already with the clinic bombings and assasination of doctors.

At any rate, the reliability issue related to low doses of birth control are hardly an abortionist conspiracy. Last time I checked, Planned Parenthood was not a pharmaceutical manufacturer and gets no cut of sales beyond those normally accruing to retail pharmacies or clinics. The dosing is so low because of efforts to minimize the side effects of these hormones. The reliability issue comes in because of compliance issues (ie forgetting pills), and because so many Americans are obese and on many other meds which can affect metabolism of birth control hormones.

He’s not in it for the money, he’s in it for the souls.

S/He did that? I thought those incidents were done by mentally unstable people, not pro-lifers.
How many bombings and killings have their been? How many babies were floating in jars in Philadelphia? Come on, now.

No matter what side of the abortion issue you are on, you must agree that this is baffling:

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) – A new Government Accountability Office report shows the Planned Parenthood abortion business reported spending over $650 million in federal funds over a seven year period. That averages to just under $100 million in federal funds each year and is something pro-life groups and lawmakers on Capitol Hill want to see ended.

Why is the government involved with Planned Parenthood and abortion?
I am truly stumped. One would think the President had enough on his plate. If we truly care for women in the inner city (where most PP clinics are located) then help fund their education.

At any rate, the reliability issue related to low doses of birth control are hardly an abortionist conspiracy.
Did you listen to the words of the nurse on the documentary - who worked at Planned Parenthood, and who assisted in over 35,000 abortions?

You’re right, and she’s lieing?

Did you even watch? Nothing to do with making money off the condoms and pills…it is the abortions…and if women are too fat that the pills do not work, change them, etc no big problem…however PP makes more money on abortions. Condoms fail, pills don’t work equals abortion…

Those things are regrettable and embarrassing. To a similar extent, so are people who use religion to justify holy war. To a lesser extent, so are people who wish their religion was used in that way.

You are correct, sir; I think the message being communicated by the woman in question is that abortions will continue to be in demand as a simple matter of fact. I don’t think it’s appropriate to read something into it like “We will screw with people in order to make sure they keep happening.”
The dosing is so low because of efforts to minimize the side effects of these hormones.
And even at low levels like that, the majority of women on the pill experience at least a low level of mood disturbance because of it. Some are more susceptible to side effects than others, though. Friend of mine used to have a girlfriend who couldn’t do it at all because it messed her up. If you ever hear Dr. Drew talk about this, he will always talk about how so many women have these kinds of problems to one extent or another but they don’t tend to talk about it with anyone besides…well, people like him.
The reliability issue comes in because of compliance issues (ie forgetting pills), and because so many Americans are obese and on many other meds which can affect metabolism of birth control hormones.
The reliability issue comes up when high school girls are on the pill, too. Sometimes it has to do with the way school scheduling is, and sometimes it has to do with high schoolers being high schoolers, but even when high school girls are reliable to the extent that they take one pill a day, they aren’t so reliable about taking it at the same time every day. And that does make a difference.

Part of how birth control works is the murder of an unborn baby. Yes the last line of defence is that the mother chemicaly rejects a fertilized egg. Last time I checked… that is the worst kind of Murder.

The idea is to statisticaly reduce the number of children for the purposes of keeping the commandment to take care of the earth. Human over population is the number one threat to this planet. But to kill an unborn baby is as criminal as it gets.

Right now certain forms of birth reduction are not only allowed but promoted. The day we begin populating new planets all forms of birth control will no longer be allowed.

If this is true, then why would this nurse make such statements?

Could you spell it out for us, please? What are the statements, and then what are the conclusions you draw from them? What is Point A, as the nurse establishes it, and what is Point B, in terms of what you say it is?

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported in its July 29, 2005 press release that a team of scientists has determined that combined oral contraceptives (estrogen plus progestogen) and combined menopausal therapy are “carcinogenic to humans.” Menopausal therapy was formerly classified as “possibly carcinogenic to humans.” It has been upgraded to a Group 1 classification, “sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in humans.” Oral contraceptives received the same classification.

This provides additional biological support for a link between abortion and increased breast cancer risk. All three risks involve estrogen overexposure.

Weird observations… First, when did we become a society that believes we can put stuff into our bodies without negative consequences? OC used to be at much higher doses, and the repercussions were adenomas as well as sterillity, cancers and heart disease. One of my friends was told her use of OC in early 1970’s was the reason she was unable to conceive. I know two people who had major liver surgery to remove adenomas (the major risk factor for liver adenoma in women is prolonged use of OC). Even at a low dose, the risk of breast cancer and overarian cancers increases. After age 35, even with low doses the risk of blood clots (thrombosis) and heart attacks increases(especially for smokers).

The risk factors for OC are known and disclosed on the literature provided by the pharma manufacturers. Anyone who takes medication without reviewing the risks, especially given that it’s not a necessity (especially since there are viable alternatives…like abstitenence) is grossly irresponsible. With her own health.

The only way I could agree with the nurse’s assertion that the low dose OC is that PP sends the message that even though they aren’t responsible enough to nderstand the risks of the meds OR to take as directed, sex is ok for them…

It doesn’t surprise me that PP would be doing such a shady thing. After all, given the fact that Margaret Sanger, the czar of Planned Parenthood, was spreading information about contraception at a time when it was illegal and had very questionable views about black people (coughGENOCIDE) does this really surprise you?

If this is true, then why would this nurse make such statements?
All she did was make an observation that birth control pills, for both pharmacological and real-life reasons, fails often enough that there is still a demand for abortion services. It’s a valid observation, I just don’t see any evidence that it was engineered in some sinister plot by Planned Parenthood.

Your computer not able to bring up the website?
I didn’t ask for a link to the video. I asked you to reiterate the quote you’re talking about and connect the dots between that and the thing you want to say.

The thing you want to say.

Which cannot be seen on the video. You’re not on the video.

How many obese women on other meds are getting BC pills from PP? I don’t think there are many young women and teens on other meds.

I completely agree with this. That was the observation, and while I am pro-life, it’s still an accurate assessment of our current situation and the things we can expect in the future.
I just don’t see any evidence that it was engineered in some sinister plot by Planned Parenthood.
I don’t know that Barb would put it in quite those terms, but to this point, it doesn’t seem to be all that far off. Can you do anything about that, Barb-o?
