Prayers for you.
The first step is take the first step.
Go to Confession and begin to receive the Sacraments again. You might want to make an appointment with your priest for Confession and a talk. Often parishes have special extended Confession during Lent.
Go to Mass, pray, and love your family.
Be such a loving, joy filled person when you come home from Mass that your husband and kids want to go along to see what makes you so alive. Your husband ought be telling his friends “you need to get your wives to go to Mass. Amy is even more beautiful and happy since she started going to Mass! And prayer, wow, it does change things.”
Remember, debating, persuading, that is not your job. You are in advertising. The Holy Spirit does the persuading.
A great resource to have available at home is a subscription to
Formed.org
You may find your parish has a free subscription for you. If not, it costs about the same as a NetFlix or other VOD service, and they do give free trials. This is a treasure of Catholic studies, books, kid’s content, audios, award winning films, documentaries.
“Honey, I just watched this series called ‘Symbalon’. I think you might find it interesting, you can watch it on your phone with the Formed app.”
But, take that first step.
Welcome home.
