Lupus and Diabetes, deadly combination?

I have had diabetes for a while now and I just went on the pump a few months ago. Two days ago I was told I have Lupus as well. I feel like there is no hope for my future. I have three, mostly grown, children and am a single mom. Feel pretty alone with facing this and really don’t know what to do. There are very few doctors in my community who treat either disease so you are stuck with their approach only. I am floundering. I would really like advice on nutrition, excercise, what to expect - anything from those of you with either of these diseases.
