I live in a small community in Alaska and I am in the process of determining if I have lupus. This involves a trip to seatle washington to see some very specialized doctors. I am looking for a Lupus mentor. This is a very new reality for me and I would really appreciate an old hand to show me around the world of lupus. Because of my location there is not a single person diagnosed with this condition in my community and I am feeling alone, depressed, and hopeless. I need someone who has first hand experience to help me through the lows until I learn enough to stand on my own two feet. I know this can be a draining condition but if any one is willing to share their knowledge I would really appreciate the help. Feel free to PM me.
