I don’t know why, but after quite a while of remaining pure, I am once again starting to mentally commit sins of lust. Please pray for me to have the willpower to keep my mind free from evil thoughts. May God keep me from despair, and forgive me though as a catechumen I cannot go to Confession.

I have just prayed for you to overcome this. The devil attacks where we are weakest, but we in prayer are stronger.

:gopray: Father God, break this stronghold. Give our friend victory over the temptation.

Just remember that we can not control what goes on in our minds. Satan can throw whatever junk he wants to throw. BUT we can control what we dwell on and what we focus our mind on. Every time a lustful thought comes into your mind stop and pray to redirect your mind. God bless, through Christ you can overcome this.
 
Sometimes, the devil sees his grip slipping on us poor sinners and intensifies his actions by pouring down upon us great temptations, especially of the flesh. He knows our weaknesses and preys upon them with unceasing intensity.

These temptations cannot be fought alone. We need divine intervention to battle this foe. Therefore, I place you in the Garden of our Blessed Mother’s Heart for protection. She has great power over evil, and will protect you.

Pray the rosary for forgiveness and for the graces you need to strengthen you in this battle. There is much power in the rosary. Pray it with a contrite heart. Meditate on the mysteries as you pray. If you are not sure what those mysteries are, just ask. There are a lot of us here that can help you.

Be assured, there is a war going on for souls. Put on the armor of a warrior. The rosary is just one of those pieces of armor and a very powerful weapon it is.

Lastly, ask your guardian angel for help. God has placed them by our side as messengers and protectors.

I will pray for your perseverance in this battle.
 
St. Michael, scatter the demons of lust that gather around Markstorm and anyone who battles sins of lust. Amen. :harp:
