Friends from my former chruch - Baptist - mentioned they’d all gone to see the movie “Luther”. I didn’t say much because I hadn’t seen the movie. They of course thought it was really good - and what I felt from them was an incredulity that I’d want to be Catholic - and some relief that they weren’t!
Well its been a few months, but finally this week I rented the movie. I am halfway thru it but I am putting it away for the night because its not edifying!
I wouldn’t know where to begin discussing it with them. I also don’t know if they would be open to a very long discussion.
But I would be interested in seeing someone intelligently discuss this movie. Does anyone know of a good Catholic website where they have written more than just a short review on it? Like a longer essay, with some background facts, and discussion of how fairly (or not) things are represented in it?
Thanks. I appreciate it.
