Has anyone heard about this woman and her prophecies? Any idea on legitimacy of self-proclaimed prophets? I understand that the Church is silent on self-revelations as Truth; I am curious as to any dangers of studying what this woman has put forth and / or any Authority. I see different things that she is New Age and dangerous (in her messages uses language of the new era, for example: “I bless you being”, “open your conscience”, all this in messages given by Jesus Christ or the Blessed Virgin.)

Luz de Maria’s website states "Mrs. Luz de María de Bonilla is from Latin America, married with children, for more than 18 years she has received messages from Our Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Mother Mary, teaching, prophesying and warning about dramatic events for humanity, many of which have been fulfilled exactly, she has a group of priests who accompany her, remaining anonymous by the mandate of Jesus until He if your identity is made known publicly, however due to the speed of the events many of the messages are made known to mankind by the Lord’s disposition. "

It appears that the Marian Revelations is contradicting the Catholic Faith, any insight / discussion is most welcome 🙂
Thank you.

It’s generally a bad idea to get overly interested in unapproved private revelations.
Wait until the Church either approves the revelation, ot the seer has an approved sainthood cause or is beatified or canonized.

“Self-proclaimed prophets” are a dime a dozen. Why bother with them when there are plenty of prophets with some degree of actual Church approval to read and study?

Anybody could put up a website tomorrow and start spouting messages and claiming they came from Mary or saints or even Jesus himself, and sadly I get the impression someone would fall for it. As PT Barnum said, there’s a sucker born every minute.

Marian Revelations is contradicting the Catholic Faith,
There is your answer there. Did Mary contradict Jesus? Mary said at the wedding in Cana “Do whatever He tells you”. Jesus set up the Catholic Church - so do you think Mary would be contradicting the Catholic Church?
