Can any CAF members name some Madonna songs that are appropriate for youngsters?

To be fair, it IS her given name (Madonna Louise Ciccone.) Although I am not particularly happy that people hear “Madonna” and think of the entertainer instead of Mary, it’s not like she adopted the name - it’s the one her parents gave her.
I used to listen to a lot of Madonna’s songs. Some of them are really, really racy and not at all appropriate. Some are fine, and some are borderline. I like her less now than I used to (I’ve soured on a lot of pop music based on lyrics, but I’ll still admit to liking the sound of a lot of it.
)One song that pops to mind is “Ray of Light.” Also, the song “Hung Up” which is more recent, is a dance track. I like that one to run to.

I have always found this woman’s attitude deeply offensive. Madonna may be her given name but she has capitalised on it in the most grossly sinful and insulting way. To my mind, for instance releasing an album entitled “The Immaculate Collection” is just about the most hurtful way one could insult the Blessed Mother of God.

I agree with you about the way she’s used her name. (though would you say the same about the name of this frequently referenced football play: The Immaculate Reception?)
Even though my mom’s not Catholic, she and I have discussed many times that parents need to be careful what they name their children…because you never know! (Interestingly, Madonna named her oldest daughter Lourdes - found that out just browsing her Wikipedia page after reading this thread.)
Yes, she definitely needs prayers, just like many people in the music business. But not all of her music is bad, morally speaking (I know people who object to it on an aesthetic level and I have no quarrel with that.)

Anyway, it seems there bazillions of songs out there produced by people not routinely selling sexualization of everything. Also consider Pope B16:
"On the one hand, there is pop music, which is certainly no longer supported by the people in the ancient sense (populus). It is aimed at the phenomenon of the masses, is industrially produced, and ultimately has to be described as a cult of the banal. “Rock”, on the other hand, is the expression of elemental passions, and at rock festivals it assumes a cultic character, a form of worship, in fact, in opposition to Christian worship. I don’t follow pop music, but my husband does.
He says absolutely not. Madonna songs are NOT appropriate for youngsters.
I pointed out to him that many young figure skaters, especially synchronized skating teams of youngsters, compete using Madonna music.
And he said, “And they shouldn’t be competing with Madonna music. It’s not appropriate for children.”
So that’s our response to your query.
I think that there are so many artists who do music that is appropriate for youngsters. We suggest the boy bands. I have heard many songs from One Direction, and I find them all innocent and appropriate even for children.

I was about 15 the first time I heard a Madonna song back in the 80’s.
Some songs are inappropriate, some are just dance music.
I think probably many of the early ones are ok, I haven’t followed her for many years, so I don’t know about her later work very much.

Everybody, is an early Madonna song that’s about dancing (and not dancing as a euphemism for sex.)
Keep It Together is fun and it’s about family.
Who’s That Girl and La Isla Bonita are fun, too.
Live To Tell is good too (and the instrumental is a good skating song.)
A lot of the songs deal with adult issues and I’m not using “adult” as a euphemism for sexual. One is about the death of her mother, another is about child abuse and many, while not sexual, the lyrics are about romantic love or the loss of it between adults. For example, I like Rain and Frozen but I don’t think they are appropriate for all youngsters depending on the age unless an adult discusses the themes with them.
Not sure what age you think of as youngsters, though. But getting into high school, some of these topics are already quite relevant to them.

I’m still wondering why Madonna even without the objectionable stuff.
I remember *The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Understanding Catholicism *, which was chock-o-full of error. One of the things it did was hold up Madonna (the pop star) as a model of “Catholics in Action” or some such. I hope the original poster is not using this book as a catechetical tool.

She has one song, I really liked hearing on the radio. And then, I looked it up and the lyrics. Too bad, a number of artists have had good songs but either them personally or the lyrics really are not uplifting.
