Hello Everyone!
To introduce ourselves. Our names are Bernadette and Rebekah age 18 and 16. We are sisters who began a magazine a couple years ago for girls ages 10 through teen. We named it Saint Maria’s Messenger after St. Maria Goretti patroness of girls. A large age range, but we try our best to fill in all the needs and interests of our younger and older readers, and at the same time spreading devotion to the Martyr of Purity and spreading our Catholic Faith better understood and practiced. We include stories, articles, reviews, interviews, essays, commentaries, etc. Of course we didn’t leave out fun and entertainment, (activities, games, jokes/riddles, etc.) or watered it down with the fun stuff – a good balance of both makes for a great magazine !
We publish each month beginning in November and ending in April giving a total of six issues. We can’t work on it during the summer because of farm work. Check out our website (designed and programmed by our sister Catherine):
