Hi all,
Sorta a continuation from my previous post but I just read this: Unam Sanctam Catholicam: Fantasy Magic and the Christian Author and an article from Catholic.com about magic in fiction and both state that we should mitigate the prominence of magic in fiction as a whole because there is the danger of glorifying magic (even if it is presented in a good way i.e a natural ability given by the God in that world) and potentially encouraging people to actually practice magic (which is highly unlikely but still possible).
What do you guys think? Should magic still be a central theme in fiction?
