While looking at vocations in our diocese, I discovered that our vocation rate for diocesan priests to be 1 out of 4000 men. This rate is not unique to our diocese. To me this means that a consecrated vocation (diocesan or otherwise) is not seriously a realistic possibility. I am trying to see if there is a way to change that to 1 out of 100. For those of other consecrated vocations, I think this change would also produce 150 times the current rate. What I am looking for is people who are interested in helping me to figure out how to make this possible without imposing vocations, not to mention faith, on people.
