Making my Confirmation this weekend

My fiance and I are making our Confirmations this weekend on Pentecost Sunday down at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Detroit, MI, with Cardinal Maida officiating…And we cannot wait!!🙂 We are both so excited!!!

Anyone know of any prayers we can pray from now up until Sunday? We’re anticipating the gifts of the Holy Spirit!! :signofcross:

How great, Katrina!!! Welcome to the faith…how wonderful! This gives me hope that our faith is not diminishing!!!🙂

A great idea would be for the two of you to pray the Litany to the Holy Spirit each day until Sunday. Here’s a link for that litany:

FYI - his Eminence Adam Cardinal Maida would more correctly be referred to as the “principal celebrant,” or “presider,” rather than “officiating.”

Getting ready to leave for Confirmation of adults at the Basilica de la Virgen de San Juan de los Lagos in San Juan TX. 10 from this parish. 8 were confirmed in an earlier celebration this months, plus 60 youth, plus the 14 received into the Church at the Easter vigil. All this sacramental grace gives me the chills. This was a highly motivated group for the most part, and several are continuing with CCC and bible classes after Confirmation, very impressive.
