For every non-Catholic who says that the “pure offering” by the Gentiles in Malachi 1:11 is fulfilled by our “prayers” and “thanksgiving” till this day, then to them I say that the only “pure offering” is the offering of Christ to the Father. My prayers are not on the same par level of Christ offering himself. Christ is the only “pure offering.” If my “prayers and thanksgiving” were the “pure offering” in Malachi 1:11 then my “prayers and thankgiving” should then only be enough to save me. But we all know that we need Christ’s “Pure Offering” to save us. We can’t save ourselves.
