So, I was looking at near-end-time stuff that is supposed to be in church teaching. I saw a novel called the Miracle Warning. I looked for it on Amazon and found what’s called ‘Thunder of Justice’ and the tagline had a buzzword that set off alarm bells (Sorry if that’s the wrong word to use) but the word was ‘Warning’ and I was reminded of Maria Divine Mercy’s false prophetic ‘warnings’ and what have you. The novel has a foreward by Malachi Martin himself! I thought that he would never approve of such a thing! The man, to me, was more about the crisis in the Church and demonic possession as well as the corruption of his order. I thought the guy was gloomy and wouldn’t have approved of the book that he forewarded on!

Comments? Anyone have anything on this? Ever read the book?

Maria Divine Mercy most likely copied the Garabandal apparitions. The Warning was prophesied at Garabandal along with the Miracle and the Chastisement. These are not Church approved apparitions, but they aren’t necessarily false either.

St. Padre Pio was good friends with the seers of Garabandal and believed in them. Many miracles occurred at Garabandal. People would shine strong lights in their eyes (enough to blind them) and nudge and wave their hands in front of their faces, and they wouldn’t even flinch. They could walk backwards, looking up and not even trip because they were in ecstasy.

My favorite story of the Garabandal apparitions would be this one:
The only other person to see Our Blessed Mother at Garabandal was a 38-year old Spanish Jesuit Priest, Father Luis Marie Andreu. On August 8, 1961, Father Luis was Among the spectators at The Pines when suddenly he became an integral part of the Garabandal drama. He was heard to say, Miracle! Miracle!" Not only did he see The Virgin Mary, but he was shown the forthcoming Great Miracle. The children in ecstasy understood Our Lady to say to him: “You will soon be with me.” Although, he had never had any history of serious illness, he died that same night of complete joy. His final words were:

“Oh! What a sweet and lovely mother we have in heaven…how happy I am… what a favor The Blessed Virgin has bestowed on me. How fortunate we are to have a mother like her in heaven!. There is no reason to fear the supernatural life. The girls have given us an example of how we must act with the Blessed Virgin. There is no doubt, in my mind that the things involving the girls are true. Why should the Blessed Virgin have chosen us? This is the happiest day of my life.”
With those words, Father bowed his head and died. Our Lady has said, “that on the day AFTER the Miracle his body will be found to be incorrupt.”
Remember, however, these are not approved apparitions and we should always be cautious about private revelation.

Plus, I read recently that the remains of Fr. Andreu had been exhumed and were not incorrupt.
There’s so much information out there that it can be hard to discern what is or isn’t true.

May I ask where you heard that from? I didn’t know his body had been exhumed yet

I think they were debating this on the Mother of God forum about four years ago.
