Different groups of people naturally prefer the company of their own group. Deranged social engineers who want to inflict forced diversity on children solely for the sake of making themselves feel good, are a menace and ought to be kept as far away from power as possible.
That this occurs even in one of the most liberal parts of the country shows that it is simply a fact of human nature.
