The weather did not deter, many groups came from far away to march. 🙂

I will, however, take the Metro next year as opposed to taking the parish bus. This is the second or third time they said the bus would be one place and it turned out being in another.

Ah well. Small price to pay. 🙂

You know what else surprised me? The local NBC (yes NBC) news broadcast about it the night before and the evening of the March. And they showed it in a good light.

For good, I hope the march was a wonderful experience for you. I think it get’s better every year! Looking forward to 2013!😃

I went for the March for Life in San Francisco – there were THOUSANDS marching and I never saw so many policemen in one place since last year’s march. There wasn’t ONE word in our local paper, the San Francisco Chronicle – and not ONE TV local news broadcast covered it at all – but what can you expect – after all, this is San Francisco!!!

And we are very glad you went. 🙂

Heading that way in Sep. for our 25th anniversary, too. 😉

So glad to hear Catholic Fireman is coming to San Francisco to celebrate his 25th anniversary – don’t know if you’ve ever visited our “city” before but if not, prepare for LOTS of hills so be sure to bring your walking shoes. Sail over to Sausalito on the ferry boat as there are truly good restaurants there – also I believe if you get in touch with City Walks they have many guided tours in the city – Chinatown, Fisherman’s Wharf, etc.,etc.
In closing I might add that I only live a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean and I can actually look out my bedroom window and see the ocean – that is, if it’s not FOGGY!!!

LOL…I’ll pm you; not to derail the thread. 🙂

I just read your blog it’s beautiful you have a gift with words. I love the march and the positive feelings there. I’m with you the ugly pictures do nothing for me. I told our kids that they didn’t have to look at the pictures we all know what abortion is.
I love the courage of the Silent no More group God bless them all. I was pro-choice for along time, had I been in your situation I may have choose abortion I don’t know. I thank God that I didn’t have to find out. I encourage everyone who makes the March with our group to not judge the postabortive women we have no idea of the pain you have had to suffer. I believe you don’t know what you would do unless you had to walk in that persons shoes. God Bless you!🙂
