I’ve noticed that some people have brought their children to the March For Life in the past. If any of you are out there, I have a question for you. How and where do you do diaper changes. We were thinking about bringing our little one, but we are leaning against it because we can figure out how to take care of such logistics;)

We took our 2&3 y.o. for 2 years at the W. Coast Walk for Life. Diaper changes weren’t a problem for me - it was the breastfeeding while walking!! There was nowhere to sit and we were held up at the worst possible location while the walk was halted by protesters. That was a trick but I finagled it okay with the bjorn carrier. :o

In any case, we did changes on the “fly” in the stroller and car seat. I packed the diaper bag underneath the stroller and had the essentials ready to go. I don’t actually remember having to do it during the walk proper, but afterwards it really wasn’t a problem. I would have just walked off to the side of the march route and changed them in the stroller if they really needed it during the walk.

Be sure to pack a lot of snacks, water, and extra clothing though. It’s a lot to pack but if you pack it well enough it will be okay. It’s cumbersome but not impossible.

Good luck! We really enjoyed our time with the little ones on the walk. I thought it was an important statement. I was hesitant at first, but I saw so many other families there, I’m sure you’ll see the same thing!!
