Marian Consecration question

Trying to find an answer to a specific question concerning Marian Consecration. I read that total consecration includes: “our exterior goods of fortune, whether present or to come”. Can someone explain to me what this means.

It means all our material goods - money, possessions, etc. that we have now or will have in the future are consecrated to Mary. Here’s the language from my signed Consecration pledge:

I deliver and consecrate to thee (Mary), as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present, and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God in time and in eternity.

As you can see, the Consecration to Jesus through Mary is not something to be entered into lightly.
 
Thank you for the reply. I do understand Marian Consecration. Perhaps I did not ask my question correctly. I am looking for a more in depth explanation of the one portion I referenced : “our exterior goods of fortune, whether present or to come”. Thx.

It simply means everything you currently have (like money) and everything you will have in the future.

The consecration gives all that you are and will be, and all that you have or will have, to Mary.
 
I’m not sure how much deeper I can explain. As I said and as the PP wrote, it means everything you materially own, now and in the future, is consecrated to Mary.

You give it to her. It belongs to her. It is no longer your own. Just as you have promised to do everything according to her will (which is in perfect accord with God’s will) everything you own, now and in the future, belongs to her and must be used according to her will, as you have promised.
