- Billions of people were baptised yet even their parents were denied enough catechesis to bring them up Christian, therefore they are justified in being aggrieved at potentially not being thought Christian enough unless they adopt conformity that they aren’t equipped to understand. Francis’ Year of Mercy should be seen as aimed at doing something about this situation but what about the powerful in the church?
- Is God going to mark down the people who don’t appreciate this and the people in charge of denying catechesis.
- The OT proclaims: “I shall put My law within their hearts”. How many church authorities have for the last 55 years trumped God, have denied very life itself to billions of would-be innocent, would-be faithful?
