Hi everyone I an asking for everyone’s help in prayer. My wife and I have decided to take counseling because of our marriage situation. The only thing though is that she decided that we should speak to seperate counselors and be seperated for the time being. I am really afraid of what the outcome may be for my marriage. She has told me she does not know if after the counseling she will want to remain with me or not. She has assured me that this will benefit us, but I am just afraid that things may not turn out to be as what I hope to. I know that I should trust in the Lord, but it is hard for me because of the fear of not knowing what the future will hold. I really ask for your prayers, especailly for God to give me strength in this situation. Any advice will be greatly appreiciated as well.

I have no advice to give but I promise to pray for your marriage.

Dear Lord,

please heal the marriage of Rivera01 and his wife, that they may forever live in the blessed union you created, and always honor one another with the strength you provide. Please alleviate the worry and fear they are both feeling, give them faith where there is weakness, and show them the many miracles that only you can provide.

We ask these things through Christ, our Lord.

Amen. :signofcross:

IMHO, counseling can be a great healing experience if you’re both open to it, and keep the lines of communication between you open during the process. COunseling is not a cause for worry. You’d really need to be worried if she didn’t want to do counseling.

Praying for you both and for your marriage.

My prayers are with you both. I will say the rosary for you tonight.

As someone who has gone through this, I will pray for you. I hope that you do not go through a separation - very rarely does one produce a stronger marriage. And be careful of counselors - some are quite pro-divorce…they might say that everyone should be “happy” and allowed to do what they want. It’s very tricky to find a good counselor - particularly one who is pro-marriage.

Pray often and well - our Lord will see you through this.

God bless,

Romick

Hang in there and continue to have FAITH 👍

I begged for a special response from GOD for marriages…Yours, km040’s and MINE, and I include anyone else experiencing problems within their marriage.

We have to trust that things will come right and look forward to the day when we all will have a smile on our faces again.

Your intention is close to my heart
You bring tears to my eyes - because I know how you feel
Close your eyes, keeo them close…and feel me giving you a huge HUG in support and a BIG 🙂 to say I understand how you feel.

Keep me posted and GOD bless you and your wife 😉
I’ll continue to pray for both of you

May The Holy Spirit establish you peacefully in God’s Will and there guide and guard you…

I am still praying for you Rivera, We too are in the middle of some horrible and very upsetting issues. I feel that we have no choice but to call it quits, although this is not what I really want, but can see no choice. I feel absolutely heartbroken now and my eyes are stinging from crying. I offer this pain for my husband, my marriage and yours and all marriages that are going through turmoil. It really is the most excruciating pain one can experience. We all need God to lift us up. Praying for that, and for peace.

Remember O most gracious virgin Mary,
that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee
O virgin of virgins, my mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand. Sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
God bless.
