I’m a catholic and my husband is a presbyterian, this is a second marriage for us both, we were married by a JP 7 years ago.
We would both like to have our marriage vows done in a catholic church.
I’m going to try and have my first marriage anulled.
I have come back to the Catholic faith after being gone for a long while…I realized “how much” I have been missing
I actually look forward all week to being in church on Sunday:thumbsup:
I understand that I cannot receive communion untill I get an anullmen and take my marriage vows in the Catholic church…am i right???
I have been going to confession often and during the communion I walk up to the alter crossing my arms over my chest and just receive a “special blessing” from the priest.
But…ooooh how I miss the Eucharist
Will my current husband have to convert to a Catholic just to have our vows done in a Catholic church?
thanks for all your (name removed by moderator)ut!
