I asked this question in the Apologist forum but it never got answered.
I’m now in the process of an annulment from my first marrige.
My second marriage took place outside the Catholic Church.
Presuming my annulment is granted and I want to be in full communion with the Church, will my current marriage be convalidated or will I be required to take my marriage vows in the Church?
anyone have experience with this sort of situation?

Assuming you are Catholic, you will have to convalidate your present marriage by taking your vows in the Church.

Okay thanks for setting me stright:) …sorry for my ignorance:o …I thought they were something all together different as I hear both terms used often.
