Married in God's eyes are not

If two people were married and later divorced, would they still be married in God’s eyes?

Would the fact that these two people were married by a notary in a park make a difference in this answer?

If they were legally married according to the laws of the state or country in which they live, they are married. I would also say they are married in God’s eyes but that would have to be reviewed (I am not God, and I can’t answer for Him).

There are factors which make a marriage valid… Is the marriage valid is the real question and that would require an answer from a church tribunal if that marriage were ever brought up for annulment.
