Bullsh*t. Just because I’m a foreigner doesn’t give him the right to charge me extra. And the way he asked for it, it was a bribe. A personal gift to him, no receipt, no accountability. He may very well have used it for something worthwhile, I have no way to know that, but the way he got it was improper.

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things. As far as the meeting with the bishop, I don’t know. My wife and I had been married in a civil ceremony two years before, we had done the marriage preparation, the banns had been read and we had a letter from our bishop which stated that. I suspect the meeting would take about an hour.

Awww okay so not to long then that’s good haha and did you have your banns read out there or is the process different over there because my fiancee says they like make a poster of it is that right?
