I have recently confirmed in the catholic religion and have recently gotten engaged. I was married once before and completed the “Lack of Form”. My finace has been married twice, his first wife he seems to believe was baptist and has not had contact with her since the divorce, his second wife was catholic, however she is not being cooperative. My priest has sent letters to different diocese’s to obtain her baptism. My finace has never been baptized and does not attend any church at this point. My question is, does he have to have any of his marriages annulled and if so what if we can’t find the first wife?

you need to make an appointment together with the priest, lay out all the facts about all marraiges of all parties (including former spouses, who may have been in previous marriages) as completely as possible. ask him to direct you in referring the case to the marriage tribunal of the diocese, they will take it from there. you need all the marriage certificates, civil and church (if relevant) for all marriages.
