I don’t know if this question would go here or not but, a freind from another website asked me if the Catholic Church has decided weather or not Mary Magdelane was a prostitute. Does anyone know? Thanks for the help.

From my knowledge and what ive heard from tradition as far as her being a prostitute, i dont think she was. This is taken out of context from the verse in the bible which says she was filled with demons. However, i might be wrong
