Mary Magdalene the "arch-virgin"

In The Cross and the Beatitudes, the late Archbishop Sheen quotes St. Augustine referring to Mary Magdalene – in the context of her presence with the Blessed Mother at the foot of the Cross – as the “arch-virgin.” But I have been unable to find this phrase in any work of Augustine’s. Can anyone help?
 
My guess is that Augustine was using “arch-virgin” as a metaphor for the effects upon Mary Magdalene of Christ’s forgiveness and/or of the love between Magdalene, Christ and the Blessed Mother. But that’s just a guess until I can read the context in which Augustine used the term.
