Is it true that Mary was stoned at some point in the bible? I was told this though I believe it to be inaccurate, and the person was sure they weren’t getting confused with mary magdelene. Also that Mary committed Adultery which is obviously not true.

it’s not true - utter nonsense really
The story about those without sin cast the first stone is frequently told as referring to Mary Magdalen(SP?), although the scripture never uses the woman’s name.

You should ask that person to prove it by citing a chapter or verse from the Bible.

As far as I’m concerned, it isn’t true.

I’ve heard the reverse actually:

Jesus said to them, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to cast a stone at her.” At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only one woman remained. She approached with stone in hand. Jesus then said to her: “Mom, I really hate it when you do that.”

:bounce: :dancing: :rotfl: I read that joke a while ago and laughed so hard my kids thought I “lost it”

But in all seriousness. There are those who feel threatened by our Love our Blessed Mother and will do any/everything they can to attack her.

Don’t they realize that they are attacking Jesus’s Mother?
