Mary on the History Channel

There is something on the History Channel right now about Marian Apparitions it seems. Just a heads up.
 
Most things I have seen on the History Channel about church, or biblical topics aren’t very good history. But I do like their other stuff like Modern Marvels, and WWII subjects.
 
wow that is so funny that you mentioned that! - i JUST finished watching the second half of it (i didnt no if was playing before hand - i found it completely by chance - or else i would have tried to watch more of it)

i personally enjoyed it verry much and thought that especially for secular media - they did an excellent job. they did not bring on tons of sceptics or try to disprove the visions - they explained the difficult process of having a vision approved - described the events at Fatima and Mejegoria (sp?) ect and the way that the Fatima predictions related to the assassination attempt on Pope John Paul on May 13 - and how that was the first date of the visions. they also described how the children in yugosolavia were tested with brain wave tests that revealed they were neither hallucinating nor lying. they also described some other apparations that had not been approved by the church in the desert in california.

i was pleased with the showing - i was afraid they would bring on sceptics to try and explain away the miracles - but they did not. i also liked the emphasis on mary’s love and that our prayers were for INTERCESSION and that we saw her as One way God could communicate - and did not try to say in any way we worshiped her. that was my opinion anyways for the part that i saw
 
Sorry for bringing an old topic back but is this video anywhere online I can’t find it??I remember seeing it on the History Channel but I had to go somehwere that day and I never got a chance to watch the whole thing.
