I have to agree. It’s great to see someone who will think for themselves and not fall for every belief that many blindly cling to without reason. If the Holy Spirit was truly Mary’s spouse, they would have had to divorce before Mary could marry Joseph. The conception of Jesus was a one time event, a miracle of God. It did not alter Mary’s marital status at all.I have never heard of Mary as the “spouse of the Holy Spirit” and I was going to Catholic schools in 1954.
I’d say the phrase is inaccurate and meaningless.
